POSITION SUMMARY
As a Sr. Inventory Control Coordinator, you will ensure proper inventory input and output, so the warehouse operations maintain maximum efficiency at a minimum cost. You will maintain the Automated Storage Retrieval System reliability and efficiency through troubleshooting and projects, while also maintaining the systems that control the ASRS and conveyance to ensure proper throughput for warehouse operations. You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art, automated equipment as a subject matter expert within our facility in this technical role.
- Responsible for maintaining established protocol to achieve maximum efficiency and utilization of the storage racks and keep accurate records as required for all reporting on production and inventory.
- Respond to and correct any problems within the ASRS systems, i.e., pallet jams, pallet tracking errors, elevator time-outs, etc.
- Monitor lane storage details to ensure that products are not mixed within lanes and that FEFO is followed.
- Process QA holds and any other requests to move product out of the ASRS systems.
- Work directly with Team Leaders, Warehouse administration, and communicate with other ASRS Specialists, Warehouse Technicians, Production Personnel, Operations Planning Management, and QA.
- Lead or participate in shift handover meetings and other continuous improvement activities, effectively applying the NCE methodologies appropriate to deliver results.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, logistics, military, or related environment.
- Must be willing to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule.
The approximate pay range for this position is $47,000 to $57,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
