Position Summary
As a Controls Technical Specialist I, you will administer the operation and safety of electrical and controls system applications at the manufacturing plant. The Controls Technical Specialist impacts plant productivity and costs through maintaining efficient systems operations of plant electrical infrastructure, programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, servo drives, robotics, operator interface systems, and communications networks including new technology implementations and project support.
- Primary technical support for the safe operation of plant electrical infrastructure, safety systems, control systems, variable frequency drives and operator interfaces.
- Provide calibration and tuning services.
- Provide systems, safety, security, policy, procedure, and drawing integrity.
- Support corporate and division Engineering and IT personnel with maintenance and installation of plant and corporate controls initiatives.
- Develop and implement electrical training for maintenance and production associates.
- Adhere to all NPPC and Golden Products manufacturing systems guidelines.
- Other duties as required by supervision.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline AND 1+ years of applicable experience in PLC software and Electrical/ hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI-systems
OR
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent AND 3+ years of applicable experience in PLC software and Electrical/ hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI-systems

- Schedule: Rotating 2/2/3 on nights (7PM to 7AM)

The approximate pay range for this position is $62,000 to $82,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
