Title: Personal Trainer
Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Manager of Health & Fitness, the Personal Trainer is responsible for their client's physical assessments, exercise prescription and motivation as well as policy enforcement, record keeping and delivering excellent customer service at all times to every member.
Job Details & Requirements:
Type - PRN, Not benefit eligible
Education - High School Diploma or GED - required, Bachelor's Degree - preferred
Certifications/Licensures - At least one (1) of the following certifications: ACSM, ACE, AFAA, NSCA, NASM, ISSA or other manager approved certification - required, BLS certified within 90 days of hire date - required
Experience - Experience in administration of physical assessments, exercise prescriptions and program development; basic computer operational skills preferred, excellent communication and customer service skills-required; ability to work variable hours necessary; possess a professional attitude and appearance; must be capable of maintaining positive ongoing communications.
